I
have always loved art even as a child. My
aunt was an artist and I loved to spend hours looking at her paintings.
My mother and father encouraged me by buying me art supplies and lessons.
I began graphic arts training at Rochester Institute of Technology.
It wasn't long before I realized that my heart was really in Fine Arts.
I moved back to Ohio
and completed my art education
at Ohio
University.
I do both watercolor and colored pencil.
I find a lot of joy in working in representational and abstract styles.
This gives me the freedom to celebrate the awesome beauty around me I see
in nature and my feelings about life and the world we live in.
I live in
with my husband, four
children, two dogs, and two cats.
