Margot is a member of the Lancaster Art Guild as well as Monarch Gallery. She has had local shows at a number of locations which include: The Community Bank, Fairfield Federal Savings and Loan Association, The Lancaster-Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce Office, Advest, First United Methodist Church, Bowen House in Logan, Ohio; and Lanning Gallery Lemongrass in Columbus, Ohio. Margot has studied under artists such as Frank Webb ASW, Linda Moyer ASW, Fred Graf NSW, and Joseph Fittingis NWS. She is currently a student of Donna Noice. Margot Barnes is a native of Yorkshire, England. She has always been
fascinated by the beauty of nature and the effects of light, and tries to
capture that and record it in her paintings. Watercolor is her medium which she
finds constantly challenging and exciting.
