My
first camera was a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye, which seems light-years away from my
current camera, a Nikon D100 digital SLR. I
had a basement darkroom lab before I could drive, and now use Adobe Photoshop as
a digital darkroom. Although the
technology may have changed over the years, my desire to capture images with a
camera remains the same. Growing up
in Lancaster, OH gave me the opportunity to work in the photography industry at
Le Veck’s Photo. I attended Ohio
University in Athens and studied photography while getting my B.S.
Recently, I have moved back to Lancaster and am excited to be a
contributor to Monarch Gallery. Capturing
nature’s beauty is my primary passion, but I also enjoy travel, portrait, and
abstract subjects.
