It is my mission as an artist to promote the arts as an integral part of our lives. As an educator, I wish to help advance others in their discovery of their talents, the use of the arts as a self-expressive tool, and to find peace that the aesthetics of art can offer.
At the very core of my being, I believe that art is an outward manifestation of our inner beliefs, thoughts, values, and identity; both in the arts that we surround ourselves with and the arts that we create.

The arts are the components of our lives that remain long after a person is gone. They are the remembrances of our story. Our paintings, music, sculptures, and photos tell about our passions, tragedies, faith, love, and losses.
I promote the therapeutic value of art using it as a tool to examine and thereby strengthen my relationships and beliefs.

Fragments 2006  “Defragmenting My Hard Drive”

The above series of three paintings is a visual study of the relations of textures and colors.
These images work independently but also as a series one interacting with another.
They have been inspired from the visual process of a computer “defragmenting” its hard drive.
