Watercolors
I am a native of Yorkshire, England and have l ived in Ohio for 47 years. I have always been fascinated by nature, the shapes, colors and the effects of light. This I endeavor to show in my paintings in the hope of capturing some of the beauty to share with others. This I find constantly exciting and the use of watercolor adds to the challenge. I derive much pleasure from my paintings and hope they give as much pleasure to my audience.
I am a founding member of The Monarch Gallery and past board member. I am a past officer and an active member of the Lancaster Art Guild and regularly show my work in the Art Guild shows. Also, I have had local shows at The Community Bank, Fairfield Federal Savings and Loan Association, office of The Lancaster-Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce, Advest offices, Nu U Salon and First Methodist Church. My out of town shows have been at The Bowen House, Logan, Ohio and Lanning Gallery at Lemongrass, Columbus, Ohio.
